BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ)- Bellevue Fire and Rescue responded to a garage fire, just after 8am Friday.
Crews were dispatched to the 2000 block of Lane Road.
Smoke and fire was coming out of the garage when the fire department arrived.
A large amount of damage occurred in the attic, and it is believed that is where the fire started.
Bellevue Fire and Rescue needed additional help due to the cold and a lack of fire hydrants.
Two engines, one rescue truck, a Battalion Chief, Chief and 14 firefighters responded to thecall. The DePere Fire Department responded with one engine, four firefighters and a DutyChief.
Green Bay Metro Fire had one Assistant Chief, an engine and 4 firefighters on scene.
New Franken, Denmark, and Ledgeview each provided a tender.
Denmark additionally provided an engine and a Duty Chief.
Reports indicated that no vehicles were in the garage at the time of the fire, but the estimated damage was reported to be estimated at $20,000 dollars.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
