MADISON, Wis (WNFL) - Kimberly came up short in the Division II state football championship game this afternoon, Waunakee denying the Papermakers their third consecutive gold ball with a 34-21 victory.

The battle of once-beaten teams was locked up at one score a piece at the break, but the Warriors dominated the second half of play, outscoring Kimberly 27 to 14.
